"Ghost Gondola Sofa" MCM Adrian Pearsall Sofa - Hand Tufted & Embroidered

1950's Adrian Pearsall classic gondola sofa. Sofa has low distinctive canted arms at each end and a low profile with natural wood base and tapered conical legs. Upholstered in heavyweight un-dyed plain weave linen. Embellished in India with hand-tufted multicolor backward facing Pacman-like and ghost design against an 8-bit inspired mini geometric background of multi colored hand embroidered squares.  Inspired by Artist Gary Hume body of work called "Backward Facing Snowman." 

Rescued, rebuilt and refinished in Newburgh, NY in 2023.
